Mother
Motherhood is extremely important to me and my journey. It’s something I’ve always yearned for well before I was an adult. I stand tall in my ability to mother, lead and pour into my boys. This to me, is the gift that keeps on giving.
Wife
I had the honor of becoming one with my college sweetheart, Mr. Johnson. We met as freshman at California University of Pennsylvania in 2010. He was on the basketball team, I was on the track team and despite how handsome I thought he was, his dedication to his sport and his personality is what drew me in. When I realized the magnitude of his relationship with God, that put the icing on the cake and we’ve been rockin since. On June 6, 2015 we wed - Mr. and Mrs. Johnson.
Educator
Being that my mother, grandmother and great grandmother were or still are in the education field, I was destined to find interest and passion in the field myself. Since high school, I have been working with the youth in one way or another - coaching, counseling, teaching, mentoring. Before my most recent position, I was providing therapy to children with disabilities throughout my last two years of college. I am now an elementary school teacher.
Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurship will forever and always be personal. I started my journey as an entrepreneur in college with my natural hair business, Styleyourcrown. I then began taking my love for photography more seriously with SCJ Captures, my photography business. My latest addition to my journey is Ivo the Company. This new addition ties in the love of Athletics, wellness, athletics and overall appreciation for growth.
Athlete/Coach
Since the tender age of 8, I have been heavily dedicated to the sport of track and field. I’ve competed at both the Division 1 and Division 2 collegiate level; qualified for multiple Junior Olympic meets, received multiple medals, titles and broken records from youth track and field organizations to college. I then moved on to the coaching stage of my career teaching children the fundamentals of athletics during the summer months.
